The planetary reducer is a transmission device that converts the high speed and low torque of the motor into low speed and high torque. It is a new generation of practical products. Machines are widely used in aerospace, medical and health, CNC machine tools, automobile manufacturing, environmental protection engineering and other industries.

What precautions should be taken when disassembling and overhauling the planetary reducer?

1. If the planetary reducer has a half-coupling, first remove the half-coupling, remove the fixing bolts, screw the nuts onto the bolts for safekeeping, and check whether the upper shell is incomplete or cracked;

2. If there are missing bolts or other abnormal conditions during inspection, use jacking screws to jack up the upper shell and lift it to the prepared bottom plate;

3. Measure the clearance of each bearing with a feeler gauge or lead wire pressure method. Each set of bearings has more measuring points, and records are made, and the lubricating oil in the planetary reducer is drained and stored in a special oil drum;

4. Take out the drive shaft and driven shaft assembly, mark the meshing position of the gears, place each gear assembly on a dry wooden board, arrange them neatly and smoothly to prevent collisions, and remove the bearings and gears of each shaft;

5. When disassembling, be careful not to damage the parts in the equipment. Clean parts and dry. If parts are found to be damaged, replace them in time. Clean the bearings, housing and gears with kerosene in preparation for subsequent inspections.

The high input speed of the planetary reducer can reach 8000RPM. Using high-strength alloy steel, the whole gear is hardened, not only the surface is hardened, to ensure the service life and long-term use to maintain the original precision.
