Bearing damage in planetary reducers is a common problem. In addition to the quality problems of the bearing itself, other causes of bearing damage are listed below for your reference:
1. The bearing cavity is not cleaned or filled with grease. For example, the small rigid material in the bearing cage is not cleaned, and the bearing raceway is damaged during operation, causing the bearing to overheat and burn out.
2. Because the temperature rise of the motor body is too high, and the bearing can be replenished with grease, it is not found in time, which affects the lack of oil or even burns the bearing.
3. Improper bearing assembly, such as cold load knocking on the inner ring of the bearing, the shaft wears unevenly, resulting in loss of interference or reduced interference between the inner ring of the bearing and the bearing, and the phenomenon of the inner ring during operation. Uniformity causes the end cover bearing cavity to loosely fit with the outer ring of the bearing, resulting in an outer ring phenomenon during operation. Whether it is running the inner ring or the outer ring, the temperature of the bearing will rise sharply and burn out, especially the failure of the inner ring will cause serious wear and bending of the shaft. However, the intermittent operation of the outer ring generally does not cause a sharp rise in the bearing temperature. As long as the bearing is intact, the phenomenon of the intermittent operation of the outer ring is allowed.
4. Due to the axial misalignment of the stator and rotor cores or insufficient precision requirements after re-machining the shaft, the inner and outer rings of the Chinese bearings may not need a cut surface, which causes the temperature of the bearing system in our country to continue to rise after the operation is “uncomfortable”. burn.
5. After the bearing is replaced again, the gap of the ball bearing caused by the nesting interference of the motor end cover or the ovality exceeding the standard is too small or uneven, which leads to the increase of the friction action of the bearing, and the temperature rises sharply until it burns out.
6. The bearing is damaged due to the mixed use of grease of different product types by the company.
7. The standby machine does not work for a long time, the grease deteriorates, the bearings rust, and no maintenance is required.
